Mastey de Paris was a plaintiff in a coverage action in L.A. Superior Court against Commercial Underwriters Insurance Co. arising out of a suit brought against it by Key Brands International, Ltd. dba Key Distributors, Inc. in L.A. Superior Court as Case No. SC03798. It obtained coverage for fact allegations of disparagement arising out of the dilution of value of the distribution rights and damage to its goodwill caused thereby, as well as for allegations of unfair competition, which fell within its express coverage for the "advertising injury" offense of unfair competition.
