G&A obtained the agreement of Great American Insurance Co. in December 2007 to defend a Silicon Valley Web hosting company against charges by Louis Vuitton Malletier that Websites advertising counterfeit products infringing copyrights and trademarks were appearing on the defendant's Internet servers. Great American agreed to permit G&A's client to defend through independent counsel paid at a blended rate of $350/hr.
